Rick Kent and I started out one leisurely summer morning in 2005 for a climb of Thunderbolt Peak. Along the way, we had to cross just below Mount Agassiz at Bishop Pass. Hey, we're here...why not?
Climbing easily to the summit in just over an hour from the pass, we marveled in the expansive and awesome views of the rest of the Palisades. Truly a spectacular summit views!
Obnoxiously signing "Johnny Knoxville" in the register, I started down shortly after I topped out. Afterall, a beautiful camp was waiting for us in Dusy Basin.
