Late spring 2007 saw DB and I headed up the tram on Mount San Jacinto. Once at the upper tram station, we hit the trail to the summit. What we found was a spectacular area of high mountain with flowing streams, thick forest, and expanding views. The summit was sublime, with airplane-like views 10,000 vertical feet down to Palm Springs.
