It had only been 4 months since my last visit to North Wash, but I was stoked to be back...and even more thrilled to check out the Poison Springs area, which I'd never visited before. 
We decided to start with Slideanide, the middle fork of the south fork of Poison Creek. It was said to be pretty, and quite heavy on the downclimbs. Let's go!
As decent a canyon as it was, it was over too quickly and we soon began the short march out of the technical canyon to the land of the walking.
Eventually leaving the canyon, the views opened up...
